Overview: Create fully functional eCommerce Web Site
My Contribution: I created, implemented and managed this unique eCommerce site designed to sell an original product: SOLAIRY. In addition to the tasks of inventing, manufacturing and importing Solairy, I sourced 3rd party eCommerce shopping cart software; built elements and pages; managed orders and fulfillment; and created a marketing campaign.
Effect: The site successfully completed all objectives, allowing customers the opportunity to securely purchase a unique product, to become part of a community of users and to return to the site to make additional purchases.

Overview: Your CreditMatters was one of two monthly email newsletters published by iPlace. Our circulation of 2.6 million opt-in subscribers demanded timely and useful material with every issue. The linked text is one example of the original material created for this publication.
My Contribution: I wrote two new articles for each publication. I also created an introduction and a farewell message for each edition - a total of eight pieces every month. The attached article ran in Your CreditMatters when Section 529 accounts were new to the market.
Effect: The newsletter continued to garner new subscribers every month. Advertisers reported ever increasing response rates.

Overview: Our goal was to use direct marketing to generate new revenues by refinancing borrowers in an existing portfolio of loans. Strict compliance regulations required extensive filtering of the database. In particular, we could not contact borrowers in certain states or those who had recently re-financed with specific institutions.
My Contribution: Contributed original copy, database mining/management and supervised in-house production of up to 10,000 mailers every day throughout the campaign.
Effect: In the first full month of operations, the campaign returned $4 million in new loans. The campaign continued to return unprecented profits from a previously non-performing asset.

Overview: My team was tasked with creating a direct marketing campaign to educate mortgage bankers about the benefits of becoming a net branch owner. The linked document is just one of the form letters used in this campaign.
My Contribution: Contributed original copy and supervised in-house production.
Effect: The campaign successfully attracted 40 new brokers to open net branches in the first two months of operations - exceeding established goals by over 200%.

Overview: iPlace had a non-responsive subscriber base. They needed to realize the full potential of their audience. Our team created two monthly email newsletters; Your CreditMatters and Your HomeMatters.
My Contribution: Led creative team, sourced content and contributed original copy.
Effect: These email newsletters had incredibly high open and response rates. Advertisers were amazed with the volume of click-throughs and low cost of customer acquisition. Our opt-in base grew to 2.6 million subscribers. The company was quickly acquired for a handsome profit.

Overview: When your site is not brining in sales, it's time to revamp the site. My Own Business realized that their online presence was not performing well and so underwent a major revision.
My Contribution: Created original copy for new pages including the home page and revised many portions of existing text. Click the link to view one of my pages.
Effect: The organization reported a jump in responses and an increase in sales.

Overview: Freedom Mortgage makes its lending products available through independent mortgage brokers across the nation. The brokers may choose the best product for their clients from many competing lenders. Therefore, Freedom Mortgage must constantly market their products to every broker. This fax message was one such reminder.
My Contribution: Created original copy.
Effect: The Freedom Mortgage wholesale managers who directly interact with the brokers reported receiving more calls regarding this message than with any other fax sent. Speaking with the customer is the first step to next sale - and sales bumped up after this message.

Overview: Create a flyer for prospective home buyers summarizing the advantages of ownership over renting.
My Contribution: Created original copy and design.
Effect: This flyer was used successfully by real estate agents to increase their pool of potential customers. They converted renters into home owners; people who did not previously realize they could afford a property. And of course, the mortgages were sold by AMX.
